(VSI) today announced a Strategic Vertical Integrator (SVI)
partnership with Socket Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: SCKT)
whereby VSI will fully support Socket's SDIO, CompactFlash and
Cordless barcode scanning hardware with Bluetooth®
Wireless Technology in all of its solutions for Microsoft
Windows Mobile, PocketPC and Palm OS devices. In particular,
Visual Solutions' Asset Track now fully supports the SDIO and
Bluetooth cards to provide an easy-to-use, cost-effective fixed
asset tracking solution using a mobile device. Asset Track Deluxe
allows asset or light inventory data to be shared with a Windows
system and imported/exported to various back-end
databases.
